Momo Shime

(Counter Do Shime with elbow to thigh)
  1. Uke has you in Do Shime. Counter by bringing your knees up and pulling your hips in tightly to uke’s groin/bottom.
  2. Use knuckle strike on uke’s ribs to help loosen uke’s hold on your head, and push uke’s arms away.
  3. Dig your elbows to inside of uke’s thighs and drag the points of your elbows toward uke’s groin to loosen leg hold around your back.
  4. Scoop under one of uke’s thighs with your arm so uke’s leg is on your shoulder and drive uke’s upper leg toward uke’s head and escape.
